Flarion

Flarion

He rode the light of the sun,
A golden apex, fierce and high,
Before the shadow-work begun,
And swallowed up his summer sky

A venom crept through fur and quill,
To twist the kingly heart inside;
The solar beast was forced to kneel,
As hell-fire rode his royal pride

Now plunging through the ruptured cloud,
The shattered demigod descends,
With blackened talons, shrieking loud,
Where holy light and nightmare blends
